I was born and raised in West Virginia, lived in NYC for a few years, and made Raleigh my permanent home in 2008. I fell in love with the Triangle because it is rich in local farms and food, it has amazing hiking spots and parks, and it has unique local businesses to support. There have been many doors of opportunity that have opened for me since living in North Carolina, in particular that I have been able to pursue my love of hospitality. My background in restaurants began in college while waiting tables and bar-tending and continued as I have lived in different cities. What I thought was just a means for funds, was actually developing a foundation and setting a path for my future endeavors. I have discovered new ways to put forth my experience through catering, which led to me stepping into wedding planning. I believe my foundation in hospitality paired with my creativity, ability to take initiative, positive attitude, and attention to detail will help bring your perfect wedding day to life!
I love creativity and design. When I am designing with my couples, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I love working with diverse, creative couples where we can merge our creative ideas with intentionality and purpose. I appreciate couples who are clear on their vision and trust me to execute.I bring hype, zeal, and peace to your day and I will be a ray of light and encouragement to you throughout the entire wedding planning process.
