Hi, I’m Lavanya, a Lead Planner with Harmony Weddings & Events, and I truly believe weddings are where intention, culture, and emotion come beautifully together.
My path into weddings started with a love for organization and thoughtful execution. With a background in tech and project planning, I naturally gravitated toward timelines, logistics, and making complex plans feel seamless. But what keeps me here is something much deeper — being part of a day that families will talk about for generations.
As someone deeply connected to both North and South Indian cultures, I have a special place in my heart for South Asian and fusion weddings. From the joy and energy of a sangeet or baraat to the sacredness of pheras, the symbolism of the thali/mangalsutra, the fragrance of fresh garlands, or the sound of the nadaswaram — I understand how meaningful each tradition is. I know they’re not just events in a schedule, but emotional moments layered with family history and love.
Over the past several years, I’ve also helped organize cultural celebrations in our community, including choreographing performances for Diwali events. That experience taught me how to blend choreography, timing, and atmosphere so guests feel engaged while everything flows effortlessly behind the scenes.
My style is calm, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. Think of me as that organized friend you can ask anything — whether it’s about traditions, logistics, or just needing reassurance the week of your wedding.
